Sacramento Concrete Contractor is a concrete construction company working across the Sacramento Valley. We pour residential flatwork and decorative concrete, we build foundations to engineered plans, and we handle commercial slabs, parking and ADA site work.
Why we talk about soil more than concrete
Concrete is a fairly consistent material. Ground is not. The single biggest variable in whether a Sacramento slab is still flat in fifteen years is what was underneath it and what was done to that ground before the truck arrived.
Expansive clay across Elk Grove, Antelope and east county cycles volume with the seasons. Granite sits shallow in Rocklin and Granite Bay. West Sacramento has a high water table. Rancho Cordova has old dredge ground with cobble in it. Those are not trivia - they change the reinforcement, the drainage detail and sometimes the whole approach.
That is why our city pages read differently from each other. The ground genuinely is different.
What we do on every project
Strip and compact the subgrade properly. Tie steel on chairs. Plan the joints before the pour instead of guessing after it. Get water off the slab and away from the structure. Cure the concrete instead of walking away from it. None of it is exotic. All of it gets skipped when a crew is in a hurry.
How we operate
Some of this is what we do. Some of it is what we refuse to do.
- We tell you when repair beats replacement, even though replacement is the bigger job.
- We do not publish invented customer testimonials or manufactured ratings.
- We do not promise timelines that depend on weather we cannot control.
- We do not add water at the truck to make placing easier, because it costs you strength.
- We do not overlay a slab that is moving, regardless of what the customer would prefer to hear.
- We put joint layout, thickness and reinforcement in writing before work starts.
